Here's a cross section of my recent work. All tracks were recorded, mixed and mastered here. On some I programmed the drums, or played bass or guitar. On the hip hop or rap the backing tracks were bought online. Call or                 me if you'd like copies or would like to find out more about the artists.

If you want to hear more come by the studio, I have years of music in all genres. And of course voice over and over dubs too. Scroll down to see the video work.

Highway 16 was written and performed by Murray Porter. It was produced, recorded, mixed and mastered here. I did the guitar work as well. It features live acoustic drums tracked in North Van. To get that grind on the keys we ran a Rhodes patch into one of our guitar amps and cranked the overdrive.

I Miss The Cats is written and performed by Lee Holmes. All instruments were recorded here in The Room Of Pain including acoustic drums. Guitar parts all were written and played by John Kieselhorst, my go-to guy any time I need guitar tracks. I had some fun throwing as much reverb as I could at the guitar solo at the end. The clean picked rhythm guitar was run through the house Leslie cabinet to get the genuine chorusing.

Ah The Sun is another one by Lee Holmes. The always effervescent Miss Helene Duguay did the backing vocals.
Here's a good rock example of an individual singer/songwriter coming in to build an idea into a song using our in house talent and production. Luke Blithe wrote the song "Misery". Then we programmed some drums, added bass, and wrote some guitar parts and solos. You can hear the finished product in the "after" version.

Here's another more easy listening example of an individual singer/songwriter coming in to build an idea into a song using our in house talent and production. Marv Gobel wrote the song "Blame Me. Then he came in and tracked a basic map to a click track. You can hear what he did in the "before" version. Then we programmed some drums, added bass, guitars, and backup vocals. You can hear the finished product in the "after" version. Marv is a big fan of Helene's vocal harmonies and gave us free reign to do as we pleased.

Two Hearts & One Soul - Murray Porter

A mellow one from Murray Porter. Helene Duguay on backing vocals and bass, Me on guitar and Michele Bruyere on drums.
Here's an example of our video work. This was done using a cel phone for all the video. While we're not experts at it, we can do basic editing and special effects. Getting your songs up on youtube is always a good idea for promotion. We can easily add pictures and scrolling lyrics, or if you like go out and record the video and we'll edit it in together.
This song was written by Bob Dylan, and sung by Helene Duguay. We did it all in her backyard.
This video was done for Murray Porter's song "Don't Let Go". The video's audio was done live without a pre-recorded guide track, so I took the version we had done in the studio and edited it to the video movements.
A snippet of some french overdubs done for an APTN cartoon called Amy's Mythic Mornings. The character's mouth movements were done in english and we had to edit the french phrases in. A bit labor intensive but they turned out well. The video clip is pretty low definition, but in HD the artwork looks gorgeous.
