STUDIOS

Cosmic Pig Studios is a small setup with a big sound. With a full isolation booth and treated walls I'm able to get all the sound of a bigger setup at less than half the price.

Plenty of room for a full drum setup.

Using movable isolation panels we have enough space for anything short of an orchestra.

For that we have a full range of samples.

GEAR

A/D CONVERTERS

Focusrite blue face 1010, 8 channels. This is what I use for the majority of recording.

Roland 2480 24 track. The 2480 is an old timer in the digital world with great AD converters, pre-amps and effects. I use it as outboard gear and for monitoring. A great machine for location recording and when more than 8 tracks need to be recorded at once.

SOFTWARE

My preferred mixing software is Reaper, but have experience with Protools and Cubase. All mixing software is identical in sound quality. I use Reaper because it can do anything and has great online support.

I have a full compliment of effects plugins and midi samples.
